Handmade Ribbon

This is an example of a hair bow that I made with handmade ribbon. It is our school team. After you buy or make the graphics all you do are these steps...

1. Make sure you mirror the image (image is flipped backwards) If your image is not already flipped when you buy it just open up paint and click on rotate and flip horizontal. Make sure you save a copy of it. Make sure you have the right size graphics for the size ribbon you have. Such as 3/8", 7/8" etc.
2. Print out the graphics on tshirt transfer paper.
3. Cut into strips as wide as it fits the ribbon.
4. Flip one strip over onto the ribbon and iron on, for about 30 seconds. Wait for it to cool and then peel back off of the transfer paper to see how it looks. Continue on to the next strips.

It's easy peasy! If you want to learn how to make your own graphics, go to etsy and purchase a template for graphics. Follow the tutorial if it came with one. I use gimp because you can download it for free so make sure you purchase for the right program. If you dont have photoshop dont buy those templates for it because you will have to buy photoshop and its pretty expensive. Here is a good one to purchase because it is cheap and for gimp. You can figure it out fairly easy but I will try to post a tutorial soon. The basics is you open up the template in gimp, copy and paste photos onto your ribbon template (you can resize the photos with gimp too) and I find it easier to use paint to add text.
